Now in its sixth year OWN will again take place at Lynnsport in King’s Lynn and will be held on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 October.  Like previous years, OWN will offer 14-19 year old students the chance to find out about a whole host of training and job options, and to have a go at a wide range of fun and informative activities. Take a look at the video below to get a glimse of what went on last year…

OWN is much more than a just a careers event – in the broadest sense it  provides students with a chance to look towards their future horizons, to consider their aspirations and to think about where they might want to be in 5 or even 10 years’ time.

This year’s event will showcase over 40 exhibitors drawn from business and local training providers. Many of the stands will contain an interactive element, so that students will be able to have a go at activities relevant to the job or training on offer and get a chance to talk to the experts about different job and career pathways.

The aim of this website is to provide visitors and exhibitors alike with a real flavour of OWN and to keep them up to date with details of the event as it unfolds. If you are considering taking part in OWN as an exhibitor then hopefully this site should provide you with the information that you need to help you decide whether or not to be part of West Norfolk’s most exciting careers event. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact event organiser Debbie Harris on 01953 889401.

OWN is organised by the Opportunities West Norfolk 14-19 Partnership.  It is sponsored by the West Norfolk Partnership and Aim Higher.  This year’s event is being run by 2up Ltd.
